Hey there! We’re back with some more forum news, and updates on the range of KakaIru events taking place!
Announcements
Mod @kakairu-shrine has been working hard lately, and wrote several useful guides to help you out in the forum! She wrote about:
- How to use the event calendar, including adding your own events to it
- How to privately message one person or multiple people
- Basic text formatting, including italics, bold, underline, strikethrough, changing text size, hiding spoilers, and creating blockquotes
These, as well as all the other guides that have been written, can all be found in our new sub-category, Forum Guides!
Keep an eye out on our socials (our Tumblr and Twitter), because we might have some surprises coming soon

Events
Please keep in mind that the following KakaIru events are only the ones that we know about, and that there may be others we’re not aware of.
If you know of one that we haven’t shared, you can add it to our Events Calendar or What’s Happening category, and we will promote them in our next update!
Forum Events:
We don’t have any events running at the moment, but we will be announcing something new & exciting on 1st April! (this is not a joke, we promise!)

Other Events:

KakaIru Big Bang 2021! The creation period has begun, and you can now see who’s participating! Artist and writer sign ups have now closed. You can still sign up as a pinch hitter or beta reader until July!

Iruka Week 2021! This event has started, and is running until 14th March! Get your creations ready while you can!

KakaIru Mini Bang 2021! The event will run from 7th June - 11th June; and the themes have now been announced!

KakaIru Month 2021! kakairu-fest is hosting this event from 1st May - 31st May! The prompts have been revealed in English, 日本語, 한국어, 中文, русский, Español, ไทย, and Português Brasileiro!

Kakashi Bingo 2021! Prompt suggestions open in April, and sign ups open in May!
