How To Use The Prompt Assistant

We have just launched a new category, called the Prompt Assistant! We have a SFW version, and 18+ version (you need access to the Lemon Bar to be able to view it); and this guide is about its features, and how to include your own prompts!

The Prompt Assistant tool was designed to help you get your creative juices flowing! We have a Prompt Calendar, a Prompt Generator, and several prefilled groups of prompts to get you started, but we would also love for you to contribute your own prompt ideas to help make the Prompt Assistants even more fun to use!

Prompt Calendar

The Prompt Calendar contains a list of real holidays and observances across the globe that you can create for! We’ve included a handful of our own dates, as well as some fun international ones (eg. New Year, Ramen Day), but we don’t have, or know, every single date in the world, so we encourage you to add your own!

Prompt Generator

Our clever mod @oneinist created a SFW Prompt Generator using the prompts that have been listed in the Prompt Assistant! If you’d like to have a greater selection of prompts in the generator, please continue to fill the Prompt Assistant, so we can add more in!

Note:

  • If you are using your phone/ tablet, you need to open the link to the Prompt Generator through your internet browser, as the generator is built into our Tumblr, and won’t open through the app!
Adding Prompts

If you want to add prompts to an existing group of prompts, just reply to the thread with your list of new ideas!

Adding a New Group of Prompts

If you’re inspired to add a new group of prompts, this is how to do it:

SFW Prompt Assistant

  1. Create a new topic.

  2. In the Title, type out the category (eg. Found Family, Fluff)

  3. In the body of the message, type out a little About, and then post your message. You can use this template:

You can find & share [insert group here] prompts here!

  1. Reply to your post with your prompt ideas!

18+ Prompt Assistant

  1. Create a new topic.

  2. In the Title, type out the category. If there are DARK prompts, or it is created for DARK prompts, you must put (CW: dark prompts) in the title.

  3. In the body of the message, type out a little About, and then post your message. If there are DARK prompts, or it is created for DARK prompts, you must put a warning in your About! You can use this template:

CW: This thread contains DARK prompts, and could potentially include words/ topics that might be triggers for you. Proceed at your own risk!

  1. Reply to your post with your prompt ideas!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
