A magnificent tower stood just up ahead. Well, ‘just’ may have been overstating it. The tower was tall, they were probably still hours away, but after how long they’d been searching…!
He hoped that everything he’d learned over the last year would be enough for this confrontation. He wanted Kakashi back. Dragons were warm and flying was useful, but none of that was worth being without Kakashi’s arms around him.
He tugged Kakashi’s mane to get his attention, then pointed down. They would be better off approaching the wizard from the ground. Kakashi landed, and they marched toward their fate.
