Iruka’s face nearly cracked in half, his grin was so huge! He could feel Kakashi trembling with excitement as well.
He nearly shaved the skin off the back of his hand as he lunged around the back of the back of the booth and pulled Anko into the most awkward hug! He didn’t think he’d ever been so excited!
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Kakashi wearing a delighted smirk as he gripped Yamato’s hand.
He pulled back to make sure Anko saw the sincerity on his face and said, “You’re going to be an amazing mom.”

Prompt: Winter Vacation
Naruto whined, leaning against the windowsill and staring listlessly at the snow outside. Iruka sighed, looking up from grading some last minute homework assignments. He’d promised Naruto they’d go play outside when he finished, but the blonde boy wasn’t too keen on waiting.
Kakashi came into the room, rubbing his hair. He assessed the situation quickly, then whistled, causing his pack of ninken to come bounding into the room.
“Who’s up for a snowball fight?” He asked catching Naruto’s attention? “Naruto vs. me.”
As kid and dogs alike crowded around him, he winked at Iruka who mouthed thank you back.
