Eight long weeks have passed since the KakaIru Advent Calendar Battle 2023 started; and many fiery battles have taken place, with 18 contestants pitting their favourite holiday tropes against each other.
Well now, the battle has come to an end; and we have a winner.
Last week, our two finalists, @Mandapandabug and @oneinist went head to head against each other with their tropes “Getting each others name for a gift exchange (panic)/secret Santa”, and “Not noticing the mistletoe at first”; and in our most intense battle yet, where it was pretty much even the entire time, one person remained standing at the end; one person was victorious.
And the champion of the KakaIru Advent Calendar Battle 2023 is…
@oneinist, with the “Not noticing the mistletoe at first” trope; and they have one a fic prize written by mod @kakairu-shrine, using their amazing trope!!!
